This project is a playful exploration with digital drawing featuring a cast of imaginary plant creatures illustrated using Blender’s Grease Pencil and 3D tools. It was created as a collaboration with Kylan Luginbühl, and gifted to his 5-year-old niece. It became a space for us to reconnect with childlike imagination and to experiment with new techniques within our usual 3D software.
Working between 2D line and 3D form, we treated the illustrations as spatial sketches, occasionally animating them to explore movement and personality. The final result is a printed, tactile coloring book, blending handcrafted charm with a digitally native process.
